I like your essay idea. The condom commercials are a good topic. Maybe narrow down to one condom brand like Trojan. Its a great idea. You have plenty of good thoughts and good resources. Keep looking around and it should be good. Get some more sources i didnt see really any specifics. Other than that sounds like its going to be good.

- I think you need to narrow down on a topic? you are talking about ways to advertise and at the same time different types and it's confusing? but overall its a good topic.

-It seems like you've done alot of research, finding those articles and all, good job!

-you di dn't really site the sources! but they seemed to go well with your argument

-make a definite argument more clearly. and yes! i want to read your paper becuase it's something that no one has thought of before!

I think your general topic will be a good research paper, but I'm a little confused as to what argument you are making. I think the argument on how the advertising of condoms has shifted in its appeal to a greater audience is the strongest one you make, and from there you can add the article about women and other audiences like maybe younger generations. So far, your research is interesting, and once you make your final argument, it'll decide whether or not those support it. I think the one about women would be really good to ad in your paper because it shows how women are becoming a target audience & you could discuss why that is. Yes, I would want to read this reasearch paper because it is something that I had not thought of and now that you bring it up, I think you make some interesting points.

I like the picture of the two Muslim women. It was an original and unique idea.
And who is Janet Reno?

The first photo is very good in how you contrast what the American ideal of what a woman should be like versus that of a different culture. It would be a great idea to expand upon
Janet Reno....true to that

I think that picture of Janet Reno is very nice. She is definitely not a typical female romodel of female beauty. Nice choices

I agree that Janet Reno would fit Douglas' mold for what an American woman should look like. Some one who is happy with their body and does not need all sorts of artificial substances to help make them feel better.

Dear Ryan,

You are completely right. I don't know about you but i definitely hate working with something that I can't prove is right. Maybe that's why I want to be a science major?

Excellent point, there is no way to measure a "real experience" - so how do we understand Percy's idea of trying to recover the authenticity of experience given what you have said above?
